Посетители форумов, посвященных ноутбукам, рапортуют о неожиданных «бонусах» доставшихся им при покупке ноутбуков ASUS. В частности на диске для восстановления системы среди прочего программного обеспечения может находиться генератор ключей к популярному архиватору WinRAR.
Кроме того, там же можно найти папку Crack, в которой содержатся серийные номера к разным программам. Дополняют картину подборки конфиденциальных документов Microsoft, предназначенных для производителей ПК, а также изрядное количество документов ASUS для служебного пользования и исходных кодов программ этого производителя.
Среди документов ASUS может быть интересной внутренняя презентация, демонстрирующая возможные проблемы совместимости продуктов компании.
Представитель ASUS уже принес свои извинения покупателям и пообещал расследовать дело на самом высоком уровне. Пока же от комментариев по поводу того, как всё вышеперечисленное оказалось на фирменном диске, производитель воздерживается.
